CIVAR 2026: Innovations in Sustainable Infrastructure and Urban Development
September 14–16, 2026 | Phnom Penh, Cambodia

CIVAR 2026, the International Conference on Civil Engineering and Architecture, returns to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from September 14–16, 2026. Hosted in partnership with leading Cambodian academic institutions and global engineering bodies, this premier event unites researchers, policymakers, industry leaders, and students to address pressing challenges in infrastructure resilience, urban sustainability, and architectural innovation.

Conference Theme
Titled "Building Resilient Futures: Integrating Technology, Sustainability, and Heritage," CIVAR 2026 focuses on harmonizing modern advancements with cultural preservation. It explores how cutting-edge engineering and design can mitigate climate risks, support equitable urbanization, and honor Cambodia’s rich architectural legacy amid rapid development.

Key Topics
The conference spans six thematic tracks:

2. Smart Cities & Digital Transformation: AI-driven infrastructure, IoT in urban planning, and digital twins for resilient cities.
3. Climate-Adaptive Infrastructure: Flood-resistant design, renewable energy integration, and disaster mitigation strategies.
4. Heritage Conservation: Balancing modernization with the preservation of Angkor-era and colonial architecture.
5. Transportation & Logistics: Efficient mobility solutions, green transit systems, and last-mile connectivity in urban hubs.
6. Water & Sanitation: Sustainable wastewater management, circular water systems, and equitable access in Southeast Asia.
